Whether you’re a secondary student, or a secondary teacher, we want to hear from you. 

There are four categories; Years 7-9, 10-11, 12-13 and teachers.

Find your category, select a prompt from the selection below and get writing. Your poem can be whatever style, shape, genre you like, but we’d like to be able to see the prompt in your work.

You’ll find daily tasks this week in our news section to help give you some inspiration.

Once you have a poem you’re happy with, send it in to us for a chance at publication, plus a $40 book voucher to each winner.

The deadline is Friday 11th of September.

The selected poems will be published in the first issue of WE Magazine, and may be used in publicity across our platforms. WE reserves the right to publish any submissions on the website.
