Welcome to the new home of our Canterbury English Teachers' community.

WE are really excited to bring you Waitaha English, formerly The Canterbury English Teachers' Association. Waitaha English is focused on supporting the incredible work of our English teachers in Ōtautahi and the wider Waitaha community as well as fostering a network of diverse and passionate educators. Waitaha English is also all about our ākonga and supporting and showcasing their learning in the English classroom. It is an exciting journey ahead and WE look forward to you joining us.
